What is your photography style?
I approach each wedding with a documentary style, focusing on capturing authentic, real moments as they happen. I avoid orchestrating or staging scenes and instead focus on being present to document the flow of the day with as much accuracy as possible. My goal is to reflect the true emotions and interactions between you and your guests, creating a collection of images that tell the full story of your wedding day without interrupting or directing the events. This way, the memories you look back on feel genuine and unfiltered.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in Wellington in the Western Cape, South Africa, and yes I love to travel! If you want me to photograph your story, I don't mind hopping on a plane to do so.
How long will it take to receive our photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 6 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season we're in). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and even order prints!
Do you offer engagement sessions?
Yes, I do! Engagement sessions are a great way for us to get to know each other before your big day. They give you a chance to feel more comfortable in front of the camera and allow me to understand your dynamic as a couple. Plus, you get beautiful images to celebrate this exciting chapter in your lives, which can also be used for save-the-date cards or other wedding-related materials.
Can we request specific shots?
Absolutely! While my focus is on documenting moments naturally as they unfold, I welcome any specific shots that are important to you. Whether it’s a family photo combination or a particular moment, I’ll make sure to capture what matters most to you. I always recommend discussing these ahead of time, so I can seamlessly incorporate them into the day without disrupting the flow.
