Welcome!

That's artificial light. You're going to learn how to do this.

That's artificial light. You're going to learn how to do this.

So, after months of planning, this workshop is finally happening, and you are one of the few people that'll be there.

First off - Thank you. This means a lot to me. Teaching is something I love a lot, and you're helping create a space for me to do so.

So, here's the deal:

The workshop will comprise of two types of attendees: Single session attendees, and full workshop attendees. The single session attendees are folks who will only be there for part of the workshop. By the looks of things, the workshop will be mostly comprised of people who are "Full workshop" attendees, so there shouldn't be too much movement.

On Day 1, the first session will start at 8:30am. We'll spend some time getting to know each other, and then we'll get cracking. We'll break at about 1pm, and come back at about 2-ish. If you're a full workshop attendee, we'll have lunch during this time.

Once we're back, we'll get cracking with session 2, which is the shoot. We'll start with some theory and Q&A before we start with a "post wedding ceremony" couple photoshoot that afternoon at about 3pm. Once we're done with that shoot, after sunset, we'll come back in and do a quick wrap-up session. I expect Day 1 to be done by about 6pm. It sounds like a long day, but it really isn't. Again, these times are all rough estimates - they might change.

On Day 2, we'll start session 1 at 8:30 again, and we'll also go through a bunch of images from other weddings. The second day is incredibly important, because the actual photography is only a small part of being a photographer. I'll be teaching you and helping you with everything else on this day. I'm expecting Day 2 to end late in the afternoon as well.

If you haven't already, please go ahead and add me on Facebook, so that I can invite you to join my Workshop group on Facebook. This group will be a place for you guys to get to know each other a little better, and maybe start sharing your work. You can also use this space to tell me what you'd like me to teach. If there's something specific you'd like me to cover, please let me know. I'd be happy to tweak my workshop if it means you'll get more out of it. Please use this group as the place to contact me about stuff regarding the workshop - I'm in the process of getting a number of big projects off the ground, and I'm planning a couple of other workshops as well, so I want to keep my emails limited. Feel free to start polls or make suggestions in there. Go ahead and introduce yourself to everyone else when you join. There are people from previous workshops in that group as well.

Please go ahead and fill out this form for me.
